Combining vintage aesthetics with modern manufacturing techniques, our True Lok Vin-Mod series tuning keys offer fans of vintage guitars ultimate tuning stability while maintaining a classic, traditional appearance inspired by tuning keys used on vintage guitars. Combined with its string locking mechanism and 18:1 gear ratio, a tension washer is installed between the string post and base plate to eliminate “post wiggle,” making these keys accurate and ultra stable.  Players will notice the silky-smooth feel employed by internal nylon washers that cushion the key’s gear shaft.  Lastly, string changes are made easy by simply pulling the string through the tuner post and locking it in place before tuning to pitch.  True Lok Vin-Mod keys are the perfect solution for those wanting to preserve the classic look of vintage instruments with the accuracy and stability of a modern locking tuning key!
